Matt Moore

Matt Moore is a writer and researcher from the Midwest. He earned his MFA in Creative Writing and Environment from Iowa State University where he wrote about his experience coming-of-age in an economically struggling rural area and the resilience and reaction of working-class communities in the face of rural underdevelopment and the resurgence of right-wing populism in the heartland. Some of that work can be found in Of Rust and Glass. He is a PhD student in English and American Literature at Washington University studying the theoretical intersections of Marxism and psychoanalysis and the crises of modernity.
